For years Robin has made cards by hand for family and friends.  In 1992, she decided to create a selection of blank greeting cards.  (Her name then was Robin Layton Kinsley) Her love for primitive antiques and animals made it easy to decide on the subject matter.  Most of her photographs were taken in Ohio and Virginia, on Amish farms and in antique museums.

Her Mom Shirley, who was an incredible artist, surprised Robin one day with the logo. She came up with the name, "the barefoot robin."   She used to joke with Robin that Robin didn't like to wear shoes.   She also hand drew the logo, a Robin bird with a camera. Robin has loved and treasured it ever since.

Until recently, these precious cards have been safely tucked away for many years.  These limited-edition cards are a special gift for anyone who likes to send handwritten notes/cards.
